NEW Semester of courses starting next week...

All courses are taught by Sheikh Naeem Abdul Wali and are open to current and new students. The courses on offer are as follows:

Arabic (continued):

This course will be a continuation of prior semesters' Arabic courses taught at IHYA Centre. The text used is "Book 2 (Lessons in Arabic Language)" from the Islamic University of Madeenah. The prerequisite for the course is that students should be able to read and write Arabic. New students are welcome to try out the class to determine if the level suits them.

Tafsir:
The tafsir class will focus on ayahs and/or surahs of the Quran that relate to the stories of the Prophets. Keywords and themes will be explained in detail in an attempt to draw forth lessons to be learnt and applied to our current situation(s).

Imam Al-Ghazzali Course:
Al-Ghazzali's "Forty Foundations of the Religion" is his own abridgement of his Ihya Ulum 'Din in which he synthesizes the most fundamental points and qualities either in worship or character development necessary for the believer.  This class will cover the praiseworthy and dispraiseworthy character traits of the 'ideal' believer.
