Sheikh Naeem arrived in Australia in September 2006 and has been teaching at numerous Islamic centres around Sydney. His fresh, passionate and intellectual style is both inspiring and easy to understand. His clear and articulate manner, his humour and depth of knowledge are unique in today's teaching environment.

Biography

After completing eighteen months of study at the Islamic University of medina he moved to Istanbul, Turkey to pursue Islamic Studies in a traditional 'madrasa' environment.

He studied for 9 years under various teachers and recieved ijaza, or traditional certification in various disciplines: Arabic language, Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic theology and other ancillary disciplines.

He has been a regular teacher at the Rihla Deen Intensives, under the auspices of the Zaytuna Institute, Hayward California founded by Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. He has been a lecturer in the United States, Canada and Great Britain.
